Xact Metal Opportunity Registration

The purpose of this page is for sales partners to register leads/prospects into the Xact Metal database.

1.

After Sales Partner (registering party) has initial meeting or demo with company (contact), and company has agreed to evaluate Xact Metal technology for purchase, Sales Partner will need to fill out form to apply for the account.

2.

Xact Metal will review our database for pre-existing account assignment. If no active assignment exists, Xact Metal will approve the account opportunity for Sales Partner, notification via email.

3.

If the account has been previously assigned and there is an active opportunity, Xact Metal will not approve Sales Partner to proceed with opportunity, notification via email.

- In Discussion: Discuss application in detail, facility & EHS requirements, customer expectations for printer performance, and timing & budget cycle. Work closely with sales partner to answer deeper technical questions and perform live or on-line virtual demos (on request).
- Technical Evaluation: Supply Xact Metal feature test to demonstrate printer capabilities. Print benchmark sample from customer supply CAD file including report with key printing parameters. This is typically the key step in the customer decision process.
- Proposal: Quote the recommended printer configuration to the customer including progress payments, delivery, and Terms & Conditions.
- Commit to Buy: Customer has given verbal or written commitment they will be purchasing equipment.
- Negotiations: Final negotiations typically around progress payments and delivery.
- Purchasing: Follow-up with purchasing to ensure all questions are answered and confirm timing of P.O. release.
